contents page sketch

This is the sketch of my contents page. In this sketch I have demonstrated my layout and feature of the magazine. I am planning to add a background which will be black and white. The colours I will use for my text is red, grey and black. This is important as most Hip Hop magazines use similar colours throughout the whole magazine. I have also added the website in my contents page as this is not conventional feature of a magazine, I believe that this challenges the conventional aspects of a magazine contents page. In addition in the contents pages I have changed the page numbers to numbers which are at least 4 pages apart as in magazines the articles can be 4 pages long and usually are. I am considering adding a editorial but if this makes my contents page more textual than visual I may change my mind. The main image in the contents page will not have a background but the background images will as I do not want any floating images as this will make my contents page seem less professional or attractive.
